    Remember when Nick Saban switched from Jalen Hurts to Tua Tagliovua at halftime of the national championship game? It took big brass balls. Yeah, Cal never had those.

    Just one off the top of my head...his refusal to call a timeout when Duke was blowing us out with the Zion/RJ team. I was a Cal apologist until watching that debacle.

    2015. Just watched the first half of the UCLA game that year and no one in college basketball since has come close to that team.

    But I send my condolences to Cards Nation for the loss of Kenny Klein. He's their Mr. Wildcat. When you see grown men like Pitino struggle to keep it together during their eulogy, you know he was a special person.

    I think Cal would crawl to Ann Arbor if he could but knows what it would do to his reputation if he did. He's a lot of things but he's not stupid.

    The Elite 8 round is the most stacked. Michigan State 78, Duke 98, UNC 11, Michigan 14, Notre Dame 15 all make sense. Indiana 75 was the Hoosiers' only loss in a two-year span. Plus the Knight-Hall incident that year in Bloomington. Duke 98 was my second choice.
