    This is who came to mind for me as well. Catching the ball in the paint, gathering, and dunking on someone before they knew what hit them. I don't know if he's the best dunker of all time at Iowa as there have been many, but he was the most "sudden".

    I don't think the "wave off" was anything more than emphasizing the very strategy that won Iowa that game. Clog up the middle and make them beat you from outside. The hate or disrespect part of this is simply being overplayed.

    She's not out of her league at all, I think they over achieved this year. Does she make mistakes? sure. But it's not the head coach that misses a boatload of wide open shots or FTs.

    No, I don't believe that was the play call. I understand she was trying to get the ball to Ava but there was no movement by the others and Virginia wasn't going to just let her throw the ball to Heiden. Some hi low action would have been a much better strategy.

    Well, that sucked. Horrible shooting once again aside, the one thing that had me completely baffled was that "play call" at the end of regulation with Chit Chat just dribbling out front until 4 seconds with a big on her. She'd have been better off taking the shot a bit earlier if nothing else.

    The scenario was much the same a few years ago when we met them in the F4. Of course we know Caitlin Clark isn't walking through that door this time, but anything is possible. I do think UCLA and UCONN are a bridge too far.
