    And the NCHSAA is now in the same situation. New Bern has admitted to playing games this year with ineligible players. Those games have a major impact on the playoff seedings. Not just the teams they played but opponents win percentage and OOWP are part of the RPI.

    I have been out of coaching for several years now, but I can't wrap my mind around the fact that someone thought a player who missed (rumor, may not be true) upwards of 60 days could be eligible. If that is accurate, several adults need to held accountable.

    Throw out the two covid years... They are 26-13 in the previous 3. They also have a solid county supplement, and living on the outer banks would be appealing. Could be a solid first head coaching job for someone.

    Lee has some ball players. They have a LB that can really get after it. Jacksonville has a great football team, I have said that since they beat us up early in the year. Their depth makes them dangerous, hoping for an onslow county victory!

    He is a solid coach, has been for 20 years. I am sure if he wishes to continue coaching he will find a spot. Hope his replacement finds success! They visited WO this year, and seemed to have some young talent.
