    Sherando moved to AAA before most of the NOVA schools you are talking about were open outside of Broad Run. They were basically facing Stafford schools so most of the drives were 1hr and half plus not including traffic. It would probably be better now as mentioned in my post with more schools...

    Yeah Sherando moved up years ago from AA to AAA. Essentially like moving up to 5A. It was a nightmare from a travel prospective. Especially for sports that play during the week. Also you get less fans because of distance which hurts lives gates. It might be better now with more schools opening...

    Saturday was the 4th time VA reported over 1k new cases in a day. I wouldn't consider that dropping. NOVA is definitely being hit harder than other areas. It would be a shame to play the season without the area. I wouldn't consider a true state champion without the region

    Sherando QB

    Really interesting he would go to James Wood over Millbrook and Handley. Especially with both schools losing QBs this year. Also, Handley has had a long history of successful running QBs I know James Wood has not been great recently are they projected to do well this upcoming year.

    You still know you are in the playoffs and the last game of your regular season is against a one-win team. Especially since the game is one of their longest road trips. I can easily see them overlooking Kettle Run

    Millbrook might be in some trouble during this game. The biggest thing in Millbrook's favor would be BR coming out flat after the Stone Bridge game

    Great win for Broads Run. This shouldn't be seen as a surprise at all considering Broad Run beat them in the regular season last year. They are definitely one if not the favorite to win 4A states. However, all it takes is one bad game for an upset to happen

    It's not pretty but it's a win. Kettle Run has gotten better as the season progressed. I look for them to be good next year.

    Game of the week in the NWD. I have been waiting for Wood to upset someone this year would love to see them grab the victory here
