Simple fix to the private vs public schools issue is to move all private schools (and ESL) 5A and up, to 8A. Public schools are only eligible for 1A-7A. Classes 1A-7A would be set based on enrollment, like it is now. If needed, The 8A playoffs could shrink from 32 to 16.

Batavia was very overrated this year. They lost all of their games against good competition (SCN, GBW, BR). Not a signature win on the schedule. They had the easiest path to the semifinals that I can ever remember.

Yeah he’s definitely got the size advantage compared to Nubin, I would compare reinke’s play style to Mike Evans or Dez Bryant. Great contested ball receiver, Nubin was more physical and elusive than reinke is.

Prior to the Mount Carmel game in 2018, the main sentiment was MC had everything to lose, SCN being the heavy underdog was playing with house money. No one expected us to win that game so we went out there and played freely. I assume the same sentiment will be applied to this game.

Agree, scn has 2-3 stud WRs who can take over the game, so doubling reinke leaves the secondary vulnerable against the other guys.

Very close, Reinke has the size, nubin had the physicality and playmaking ability.

If I can remember correctly, He was definitely banged up, he wasn’t 100%. He played both sides of the ball for us. That definitely put some wear and tear on him. Especially with all the hits he was taking in the wildcat.
