well you accused me of being some sort of youth dad coach or something, just to let you know since this is your forum, the subject of this thread was Murphy / Hayesville, SMC 79 and myself were having an interesting conversation about the subject, my point was why post something not pertaining...

By the way 4 th and inches, I follow Union county panthers too, but don't deem it necessary to post about it here.

What???? If you must know, who I am is none of your business, I graduated from Hayesville about 25 years ago, spent a career serving my country, just came back into the area a few years ago, am trying to get back involved with the community, I'm just posting what I've learned by being around and...

Yea, it would be nice to go into every SMC game knowing it could turn out either way. That's why we love watching the game and cheering for our team, nobody likes a blow out even if their not on the receiving end. Same goes for other sports, I saw a girls volleyball game a couple weeks ago, even...

Haha, I'll bet the powers that be are open to suggestions!!! With the exception of Dockery, Rogers, and Myers, and maybe a couple folks behind the scenes I think this years varsity coaches are first year coaches period, I think this years jv coaches have been coaching midgets for years, if that...

That might happen, as far as that goes, folks seem to want him for HC. I understand Matt Rogers works with the QB. It seems the old school football junkies here like what he does, The kids I've been around seem to have a lot of respect for these two, so does the community that cares about...

Varsity?? I don't know the names of all of them, but I knew mcclures older brothers and dad, I know him when I see him and I havnt seen him coaching football, I think his older brother coached jv a few years ago, Darren might have helped with that, IDK. He could have had a role in varsity maybe.

I don't think so. I've been away for quite a few years, he could have some time back, I think he's fairly young though.

Your right about that, we have the young guy that graduated from Murphy, he seems to be pretty good and wants to win, not sure what the goal is for the retired coaches or the ones that make the decision to hire them.

Also for some reason some of the coaching staff and powers that be think and are outspoken about Hayesville having a good football team in a few years, we'll just because a group of kids won the midget cracker bowl. Some have completely counted out the current varsity players, I think they...

Who knows if film is watched, I made a remark about defensive coach a while back about where he learned about coaching defense lately, I think some thought I was joking. Well, does anyone still think it's a joke?
