    I would say RV has the speed to match up with VHS. Beavers is one of the fastest kids in SWVA. I would expect RV to beat them by 28 or more, not even a close matchup. The Graham vs Gate City game will be fun to watch for about 10 minutes...it that long. From that point on the points will rain...

    I was referring to the #2 receiver 13 Cannon Hill. Put too much focus on Beavers and this kid will light you up.

    Its not so much the speed....the kid is tall and makes circus catches. He makes the QB look better than he is.

    #13 Cannon Hill IMO was the MVP against Central. He made some stellar catches and ran the wildcat. He is going to burn Graham if they pay too much attention to Beavers. #5 will also make some plays if too much attention is paid to #7 and #13.

    2A Cross Country State Championship

    Good info! I wouldn't count out that Union team. I was looking at their times from the 9/11 Knights Crossing race. The looked pretty good and seem to run in a pack. 6 runners in the top 20 for that race is a good showing. Plus its the same course they use for state.

    At the end of the day with the current system that is in place....IMO the best team is going to win the championship some losing teams may get dropped but the winners are getting in.
