    I'm just saying that the reason traffic signs have different shapes / colors is for that contingent of drivers that doesn't know how to read. However, if you never took the time to learn how to read, it's unlikely you'll take the time to pass the driving test.

    They will read the test to you. Also, you don't need to be able to read to understand traffic signs. If you see a red octogon (assuming you know what an octogon is), you should know that that is a stop sign.
