    Tarboro vs Southwest Edgecombe

With the unrelenting heat we have been having and the tendency for it to still be really hot in Sept. I don't think it would be good for the fans or players to ever have that game on a Sat. afternoon unless it get pushed up way into October. An afternoon game could easily have a heat index of...

    Grimsley at East Forsyth

Boring blowout by Grimsley. EF cannot hang with them.

    West Forsyth @ Grimsley 8/28

Again, WF showing that while they are a good program, they can't hang with the elites like Grimsley and the better Charlotte area teams.

    West Forsyth @ Grimsley 8/28

Grimsley wins. West is a very good and consistent program. But they always fall short in the big moments against Grimsley and the more elite Charlotte teams. They just can't find that next level in Clemmons.

    Any 7A/8A scores 8/20

Not good for Tabor. Looks like their D played pretty well. I think Reagan has a junior running back that was a stud his first two seasons. But the Spartan offense face planted.

    Football Davie at West Foruth

Yes, but they can never win the big one in football. Playoffs almost every season only to fall short against a Charlotte area team. But they are a solid program with great community support and big crowds at their home games.

    Football Davie at West Foruth

First game and all. But is WF this good or is Davie not good?

Not often CC football ends up with 5 losses in a season.

    State Of 1A Football

Yeah, seriously. Has N. Stokes EVER been good at football? I recall they had a few respectable seasons under Frank Sessoms. But even those teams did not make any deep playoff runs. They don't seem to care much about football at that school.

    Repeat Champs of 5A & 6A or New Champs of 5A & 6A

Good to see these kids outside working hard and not spending the summer staring at their phones or playing computer games.

    Baseball 5A/6A Baseball 2026

Didn't Madison Bumgarner go to S. Caldwell? Pretty good history of baseball there. Still, surprising that they moved past Alexander Central in a two game sweep.

    Reagan and what other school?

    Baseball 5A/6A Baseball 2026

Impressive run by S. Alamance that otherwise looks like a very average a few games over .500 team.

Transfers have completely ruined the game.

100% agree. They want instant gratification and to be on a instant winning team. They are not willing to put in the work to make an average or bad program into a winning one. And I don't want to hear about the college recruiting mess. It is 2026 and social media is everywhere in our lives. If...
