    I’ll be extremely positive for any player that I don’t project to be in our top 10 guys. Any player that comes cheap, as a deep depth option, developmental piece will be encouraged by me. Saving my scrutiny for the players that will actually play next year.

    It’s not super common to see tons of mutual follows on social media during the Pope era(joke or take from that what you will) but Byrd is followed by Lamont, Kam, Otega, Denzel, Collin, and Andrew Carr. If he goes elsewhere it won’t be for lack of connections!

    Think he could be a fit to pair with Chandler at the 2 spot. Could play together or one at a time. Kam Williams commented on Tipton’s post of it with 👀 Pretty consistent shooting splits of 40/30/80. So not a shooter. Good enough FT shooter to keep on the floor late as a defensive stopper

    Not with them being an LLC now. That information won’t ever come out completely. The frequent posters on here that follow this stuff to an unhealthy amount(like most on here lol) are able to deduce what these markets are for players.

    The obvious reason is the Florida operation being run better right now. The less obvious reason is Malachi will probably make more next year than either of those guys, and generally bigger deals are harder to do.

    Let’s see if I can get to 22 on back of the napkin math: -Oweh 4 -Lowe-3 -JQ-2 -Aberdeen 2 -Mo 2 -Kam 1.5 -Garrison 1 plus -Chandler 1 -Moreno 1 -Jelavic 1 - Jasper 1.5 -Noah 750k -Hawthorne and Potter combined 500k I get pretty close to 22…bare minimum in my mind was high teens.

    Especially with an analytics GM I find the Evan Miya site interesting. Essentially his data of possible returners: -Mo and Malachi really good -Kam and Chandler solid -Garrison not good -Jasper bad -Jelavic atrocious

    Don’t let the lack of reporting of other teams NILs suggest most of these top teams don’t have large NIL budgets. Heck just look at LSU with Will Wade getting a 14-15M NIL budget commitment. Yes schools like Iowa/Nebraska/Iowa St had good years with small budgets but they’re more outliers...

    Probably. I just used 3M+ as my threshold for our best players. Probably includes Stokes, top 30 transfers, best overseas guys.
