    OT: Buying a bike

If your riding will be more trails, I would suggest a 29er mountain bike. If you're going to primarily be on the road, another option is a cyclocross bike. These are basically road bikes that can run with larger tires and go off road. They don't have any suspension, so they're not good for...

    Respect the bell

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but we didn't respect the bell at the end of the game last night. We will probably be fined. We did so well all game and during the last minute all hell broke loose. I realize it was an emotional time and may have had no impact on the outcome of the game...

[OT] If you were starting fresh, who would you pick for your TV provider?

Same setup for me in Huntsville as well. Just switched from Comcast internet to Knology and I'm very happy with it so far. We've been on Dish for several years and yes, my only complaint is ESPNU.

You can embed a Google calendar into a website very easily, you just have to find where they hide the information. :) From your Google calendar, go to the calendar settings page. Click on the "Calendars" tab at the top left. Click on the calendar that you want to embed. Towards the bottom of...

    OT: charity needs website help

Jedit is my editor of choice, but most of my development is in C++. You'll want to add some additional plugins, but there are some for HTML editing. It's a highly customizable editor. http://www.jedit.org/ There are also some Content Management Systems (CMS) that you could try, if you don't...

    brining cameras inside DWS

I took my Canon XSi in last year, but wasn't aware of the "rule". I had it with two lenses in a fairly small camera bag, which I believe was in a back-pack. I wasn't really trying to hide it, but nobody said anything to me about it. I was sitting at the very top of the stadium. Forrest

****Tennis post**** This may be from the German Open, but Soderling ousted Federer today. How about putting the spoiler in the message body next time, with a warning in the subject. I guess I'll be able to skip that match now.

    Where was the zone?

Did we play it once yesterday? I thought the zone could've helped against the cutting offense that TN employs. I might have missed as I got pretty disgusted in the second half.

Congrats, Butte-Bozeman, MT. You got HD Locals on May 9!

Dish has them all in HD in Huntsville, AL. That was one thing that kept me from satellite for so long. The Dish receiver has really good integration with an OTA antenna too.
