I had season tickets for 20 years. The last 5 seasons I said I was not renewing. I did not renew my tickets for the up coming season and will not attend another game in person. Accountability (Media vs. Fans)
As someone who has advocated holding this fan base responsible for this current football malaise.....it is correct...NO ONE will ask the hard questions to anyone in the athletic department in Lincoln. That fact is one of the reasons that it will have to be the fans who hold the athletic...- Fed-Up

Did you even read what I posted? I'm not blaming Ekeler for anything other then doing what every other player and coach is doing . Rhule is an ineffective and worthless coach. What I AM saying is that money (and the quest for money) has ruined college football both with players and coaches.- Fed-Up

no it did not take the Ekeler situation for me to come to this conclusion. Yes, Rhule has one thing on his mind and that is Mat Rhule. I know I'm a cranky old man...but MONEY and the "ME culture" has ruined college sports. Gone are the days of any kind of team/university loyalty. Not just players...coaching has definitely turned into a money based system. No coach or player does it for any motivation except $$$$$$ . I guess...- Fed-Up

No faith at all. He has essentially added nothing to this pathetic program...except a huge paycheck for himself. I have never understood this fan bases infatuation with him. He is a .500 winning percentage coach...a fast talker and has produced marginally in three years. Yeah...two loser bowl...- Fed-Up

....you mean like almost every other team playing in a bowl game? What a kool aid drunk statement. Matt Rhule is a loser coach. Even the announcers mentioned with a bit of surprise that Rhule hasn't beaten a ranked team since 2016.- Fed-Up

The administration or whoever the over-lords are...have no motivation to do anything. The fans are the reason this team sucks and will continue to suck.
