    Softball State Softball Finals moving to Lincoln

    My guess is that in 2027, the quarters and semis will be in the new Lincoln Complex and the finals in Bowlin.

    You are not taking into account the parents and grandparents who will have to be drug—kicking and screaming—into coops and consolidation. Sometimes I think these people would rather be 1-8 with “our team” versus being more competitive by co-oping with the town next door.

    I was very impressed with Catholic last night. Both teams lost a lot to graduation from last year’s state title teams but NC looks like they’ve reloaded faster.     I noticed that as well, but after looking closer, he no-heighted in the pole vault (along with Norfolk Catholic’s best vaulter) and only threw 122 in the discus—65 feet off his best.

    I’m pretty sure Elwood had wrestling and was a member of the CPC in the 80s. Paxton also joined in the mid 80s but I don’t think they had wrestling.
