“Claiming she’s a mom”. Way to seek cover @McCaravan I always knew you were “low energy” when it comes to anyone questioning you’re authority on everything MC!
John Nee is an absolute Prince of a man! Intelligent , friendly and well respected Ritaman who filled enormous shoes following the retirement of legendary coach Mike Zunica. Extremely loyal to the St. Rita community and an alumnus. If this is what John wants it’s a no brainer IMO. St. Rita is...
That works 2 ways….. Tell that to a bunch of 17-18 year old kids who lost a tough one at BR the following week and spent equal amount of time in the weight room thinking about it.
Thanks for sharing this. IMO opinion as an MC mom……. This should be their biggest marketing strategy. So many families just dismissed sending their sons down to MC due to pre-conceived notions about the neighborhood. As we both know families have been sending their sons to 6410 for years with...
Very well stated. Interesting thing regarding Ignatius are the rumors that they’re exploring “tuition optional” enrollment due to their success in their endowment fund. Has anyone heard similar rumblings?
Curious if you’re implying families would send their kids to Ignatius for their...
Smaller families is definitely part of the problem. What I haven’t seen mentioned is the economics of sending kids to catholic schools being the other part of the equation here. What is the plan at MC moving forward to keep enrollment at acceptable levels to sustain the schools future moving...
Absolutely correct @ramblinman. And guess what happened when Ignatius went coed? The fathers of daughters from Beverly and every other area under the sun sent their daughters down to Ignatius for a world class education. Through the same neighborhoods girls would travel through down to MC. Most...
Me thinks so Too! CCL blue title will most likely come down to the last game of the season when MC travels to Wilmette For a Saturday afternoon 1:30 showdown. Should be a barn burner for sure.
Curious what BR brings back to deserve the 12 spot? Lower levels have struggled tremendously since ‘19. As one poster commented the recruiting effort struggled tremendously when Badke left the building. Seems like this will be the year it catches up with them? What is this Mom missing?
Just curious as to why it would have been such a “high risk” with low chance of reward? Seemed like the following year (‘23) was a bit rushed for sure. Maybe a 4 year hype and marketing plan would have been better?
