    Time for A New System

It’s definitely time for a change. NCHSAA needs to show some real leadership. Everyone knows what’s happening, but yet the adults in the room (those in leadership), just let it happen. There are no guard rails in high school sports in NC. I’m for changing the system as you have proposed. It...

    Football Coaching Openings

The truth and matter is Clayton has had some bad actors in the form coaches. They have recruited and he’s taken a stand against it. If a kid and his family decide to move, that’s one thing. When coaches reaches out to kids that’s a totally different story. You can take up for Clayton if you...

    Football Coaching Openings

What is your problem with the guy? You can’t help but constantly post about him on here even when the conversation isn’t about him. Seems like he lives in your head rent free.

    Projected playoff bracket

The method during this four year alignment being used is the top 48 teams based on RPI are include in the playoffs. In the past four year period, teams were assigned to the east or west and it stayed that way over the four year period. The difference is the new method takes the best 48 teams...

    My realignment proposal

In racing sometimes there is what’s called an open class. What if there was an “open class” in the NCHSAA where parochial/charters play along with schools that have _____% of transfers into their program. If for no other sport, at least have this for football. Is virtually impossible for...

    Richmond VS Clayton Round 2

Very good football team and well coached. Coach does not put stats in MaxPreps, but I understand leading up to their last regular season game their defense was allowing less than 90 yards per game. D1 talent on their defensive line and strong LB core. They cover the run really well. On the...

    Preliminary brackets are out

Just to add Eagles/Trojans, in the west there are nine conferences. The conference first place teams get seeds one through nine based on highest RPI. Then seeds 10 through 16 (remaining home teams 1st round) are filled with the non-number one teams with highest RPI getting the 10th seed, etc...

    4A East (week 10)

What about your Bears? How far do you see them going?

    4A East (week 10)

IMO the seeding process misses the mark. I would like to see a move away from seeding the conference winners first and just seed solely by the RPI.

    Richmond vs. Scotland

just curious of your thoughts on this game. Did it change your thoughts on the east? Sounds like you’ve seen a lot of teams play this year.
