    To have a separate 1A playoff there would have to be 29 teams participating in that sport. Right now football only has 19, wrestling only has 13.

    The state had already said 1A and 2a would be combined. Will be combined for wrestling as well. In any sport if less than 50% offer it they get combined with the next higher class.

    With 4 new charters coming in next year, Hayesville, Kipp, and East Columbus would move up to 2a. That leaves as best I can count 14 football playing schools in 1a. If they stay in then it’s 17 teams.
