Both lines and this team not being able to get out of their own way worries me. Both things we won't know until we see it unfold. To me, Frost should've been canned because 3-9 is 3-9 no matter how you spin it. That being said, I like the coaching additions as well as the added talent. I'm not...

Way too Early 2022 projections now that 21 is over

6-6 with losses to Oklahoma, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Purdue and Iowa. Until they beat them or Frost proves he can coach a decent game against Fleck I won't predict improvement until I actually see change. They've done what they needed to with the staff and roster once the decision to...

And all toss up games can be counted as a loss until Nebraska wins at least 1 "toss up" game under Frost.

Should Reggie Bush be given his Heisman back?

I always thought he should have it, what he did had no bearing on his performance or ability. He was the best player by a mile and he was appointment viewing. The wins I would not give back though as the rules were broken and it was a clear violation at the time.

    Bubba Starling

Should have 4 years of eligibility left. If he's an early enrollee he would have a chance to compete for the starting role.

    OT: wind cancellations?

Add some rain that turns to snow later in the day, get the wind gusts in the 40's and 50's to push the snow around in the early evening and the temperature to drop about 30 degrees in a few hour span overnight and you have your typical Fargo winter day.

    Alberts and Frost

Definitely agree on that, the more big jobs that opened up I was more on the side of being fine retaining him. Just when the announced he was back it just didn't make much sense to me. Like you said firing a coach just to fire him without a plan and the risk of getting a worse coach sets you...

    Alberts and Frost

I'm not a fan of what they did, don't understand retaining Frost with a 3-9 record in the year that was supposed to be the best roster he's had while here. It just seems like we're fine being a middling program that is "close" but also not good. That said, this what the powers at be decided and...

    Mickey on the radio

Couldn't agree more, give me an accurate qb who can make quick reads, an o-line that's not one of the worst in the nation and running backs that don't trip over their feet on the way into the end zone and this offense as a whole is damn good.

    Deshon Singleton

It'd be nice to get all 3 to help fill the room, losing the 3 starters and still lacking depth from the mass exodus of the 2020 defensive back recruiting class.

I KNOW there are several Hoiberg threads

Hoiberg has done a good job of getting talented players that normally would never come to Nebraska here, but he's done an awful job of assembling a roster. He assembled a team of shooters and high volume scorers that can't shoot or score, nevermind play defense or rebound. He's never been able...

Quarterback - Who starts in Ireland?

Brennan with Smothers staying put and using him in option type packages.

    Spencer Rattler...

Not a Rattler fan and don't think him ending up here is really that likely, but he's arguably the most talented qb in the portal, it would be for one year so I don't see how it would be a negative. If he sucks and his attitude blows, he's gone, if he plays to his potential Nebraska competes for...
