    Who's the best team in the state?

    ESL. I attended the LA game and most LA games all season. I know LA improved over the season but while I think they would play them closer I believe ESL is the superior team and would again win.

    I hope it’s 40 degrees but the temps I’m seeing are significantly lower, especially for the late 8A game at 25 degrees.

    A True Public vs Private Final

    Yes, those were the glory days for the Porters. Unfortunately they have gone 14-15 since while LA has gone 38-3 and won 2 championships and is playing for a third this weekend. It wad good while it lasted I guess.

    Loyola (Hollywood) vs LW East (Beast)

    I watched the onside kick again. The film I was watching was shot at field level facing LA. First, LWE #8 clearly touches the ball first before it’s gone 10 yards. Play should have ended there with possession to LA. Second it is clear that LA #8 recovers the ball, no ripping required.

    As you rightly point out York was competitive against LA last year and I believe they will be competitive Saturday. I don’t, however, think LA will have any kind of mental let down. They will be prepared.
