    Definitely something the “Rhule is building something and needs time” people need to be aware of. Nebraska is in a pecking order and there’s no guarantee developed talent is going to stick around. If you can pull someone talented from a lesser program, you need to do it.

    OT: ACC invites Stanford, Cal, SMU

    I wonder if there are any safeguards in the contract from keeping the conferences from booting them out. A decade from now TV contracts probably won’t amount to much. Also, seems like a huge gamble since the ACC may not even exist in 7 years.

    Who cares? I’m a Nebraska fan as much as I am Iowa, ISU or Kansas State fan. I just like to see Midwest kids do well for themselves. If you think I spend hours on this board I really hate to think how much time you spend on here given our respective messages/time.

    Way too much obsession with Iowa on this board. I like Iowa, but I’ve stated plenty of times I’m an ISU fan, if anything. But I generally find myself caring less about sports the older I get.
