Fun article on Brodner and Lees from the Tribune this afternoon. Should be a good game.
Just don't see it? 400 yards of offense against a team that was supposed to "contain him." Almost 100 career touchdowns. Going to the Big 10. Just so you know people also play football north of Joliet.
Btw, he's going to be a receiver. I don't really expect him to have Aaron Rodgers mechanics...
What a game. LWE is a tough, tough team. Libertyville defense stepped up huge when tested. At this point don't know how you can argue against Lees for POY.
Was just asking. Agree.....first half was a little nerve racking. Awesome to see the sideline and how they adjusted emotionally and on the field. Agree with Lake County - pretty decent offense. My only beef is how their wins have been discounted. Then conference goes 4-0 and nobody talks about...
NSC 4-0 first round. Best conference performance in the state. The Libertyville D was never tested this year and never saw an option offense. Very impressed with second half adjustment which included no points and a goal line stance in the 4th. Good to see that reaction as many were wondering...
Great win by GBW - polite debate here...... Lees had 400 yards of total offense. Sounds like they both had solid performances!! Should be a blast to watch throughout. Good luck to everyone!! Happy Halloween!!!
At the end of the day, when it comes to Brodner and Lees both seem to be great kids who will be attending two of the top universities in the county (FOR FREE!). And now they have the chance to make a deep playoff run one last time with their buddies. If (hypothetically) POY comes down to...
One last thought - when it comes to "not being able to blow past Big 10 CBs like they are DGN," whether you believe it or not, I can attest with 100% certainty that the kid runs in the mid 4.3's. Has been timed in that range (and even faster, but that is likely a quick trigger finger on the...
Good game last night by Libertyville. The option attack was definitely a change of pace of Libertyville's defense. Hope they can keep it going next week, will definitely be their toughest test of the season thus far.
When it comes to POY talk, look at the kid's stats in light of the fact...
