    Yeah, to blame it on one party is disingenuous. They both suck when it comes to this. I will say though that this trend really started in a big way under Reagan, a Republican, and seemed to really accelerate under Bush, Trump and Biden.

    Incorrect definitions. Stagflation is when the economy is stagnant (no or very low growth) but inflation is high. What you are talking about is called shrinkflation.

    Michael McDonald is the king. Listen to that station on Sirius XM for awhile and his voice, either as the lead or backup singer, is all over the place. And if you watched the HBO documentary, Steely Dan is the father of yacht rock. Lots of yacht rock musicians were session musicians for them first.
