    Less favorably considering how watered down the playoffs are now compared to when it was AAA and where all the schools are grouped, however still an impressive run for HS. Hampton is still the gold standard for VA in my opinion.

    The playoff format is a joke. Remember all the classic battles at a packed Churchland gym or Scope arena and being able to see a bunch of great matchups all in one place?? Same for some other regions that did similar. The VHSL ruined what used to be a great playoff structure in Hampton Roads...

    Damn, that's a joke. VHSL watered down the playoffs for the entire state and made it so much easier now with all the groups and shifts with conferences then regions or whatever we're on now. All these repeats in football and look at a lot of the same teams that have been winning in basketball...

    Yeah, I think the moderators got power-happy and started killing and ruining these boards at least a few years ago. Now they're all but dead, except for a few small schools in Nowheresville. Zero talk among the largest classifications, even throughout the playoffs. Whata shame.
