    One thing I’ll say in our favor is that his only profile info on Instagram is “Christ Follower.” Hurley may still get him, but Pope is probably better at getting the outwardly religious kids. I know…..I’m reaching. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    In my mind, this is why he and Rob are on campus at the same time. Rob has already verbally committed and Pope wants to show stokes who his PG will be. Just me reading tea leaves with no intel.

    Agreed on who is leaving. I have no idea about Stokes, though I assume it’s not here. And count me in the group that thinks some retention is REALLY important. Especially for a system guy like Pope.

    And what’s interesting is teams like Iowa, Purdue, Illinois don’t have much 5-star talent. They aren’t all super athletic. They are skilled, have high basketball IQ, and are well-coached.

    I don’t think they will, actually. Historically, the team that wins it all doesn’t struggle with their opening round game. And Arizona looks spectacular. Or maybe I’m just telling myself this to numb the pain.
