Hearing Stokes is ours.. Look for Thurs or....

Or because most of their games are on when 2/3 of the population is asleep.

    Michigan Historically Good?

Yeah. Florida won both the basketball and football titles in 2006, too.

    Michigan Historically Good?

No. When I think about "historically good," I'm thinking about teams that dominated their respective years. Even the UNLV, Duke, UK teams of the late 80s and early 90s, though they often did return players, each season was a unique team. Now, talking about "dynasties" is a different. I'm not...

    Michigan Historically Good?

I haven't had a chance to break down their scoring margins over the season, but they mowed through the tournament field, with the only exception being UCONN in the championship game. They had very impressive wins this season, even though their three losses were a little underwhelming compared...

    Michigan Historically Good?

Where does this Michigan team fit into the historical conversation?

If you had zero history, which team is better .

Literally, UCONN's women's team is more important than their men's basketball team. You are not a blue blood if your women's team matters more to your national brand than your men's team.

If you had zero history, which team is better .

If UCONN isn't winning titles no one in the nation cares. When Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, and/or UNC aren't winning, everyone notices. True Blue Bloods move the national needle. UCONN is the 21st century's UCLA. Relevant only because of titles, but otherwise insignificant.

    That's why there's history.

Curious about head coach when you became a fan

My first sports memory, as a diehard fan of anything, was as a nine-year-old Kentucky fan on March 28, 1992. If you know, you know. I hate Duke as much as I love Kentucky basketball.

Will Wade going back to LSU?

His best seasons were: Virginia Commonwealth, 2016-17: 26-9 LSU, 2018-19: 25-5 McNeese 2023-24: 22-2 (suspended the first 10 games) McNeese, 2024-25: 28-7 He's had three seasons, where he coached the whole season, of less than ten losses, out of 12 seasons. He's also had a ton of issues off...

JJ and Moreno the best duo from Lexington.

Go watch the minutes he played against Iowa St. and tell me it's the fault of the coaches. Their only fault was putting him in that game.

JJ and Moreno the best duo from Lexington.

Pope had nothing to do with the bad basketball I saw JJ play. He made elementary level mistakes, the kind you take for granted every college basketball players know.

Worst Thing that Could Have Happened This Season....

COVID year still happened. COVID didn't make Calipari fail. Mark Few almost went undefeated that year, and he didn't blame COVID. $22 MIL has been confirmed? Prove it. Pope assembled a bad roster this season. He lost his PG and never got to see the full product healthy and playing together. I...

I'm hoping Acuff takes Cal to the Final Four, so that it puts more pressure on the Good Ole Boys up at Kentucky.

This is that part in Scooby-Doo where Shaggy pulls off Son_Of_Saul's mask to reveal he's really Brad Calipari.
