    Enka 4-0?

It's been what, 20 years since Enka last beat Erwin? This should be a huge week for that program.

    WHC week 7

It seems like Hendersonville handled Mitchell without major issue. They seem like a pretty clear No. 1 to me.

    MAC Conference Play Week 1

I'm surprised TC is that far ahead. Before the season it seemed a lot of people might have favored Asheville. I think TC is the better team.

    WHC week 6

Should be a pretty cut and dry week.

    MAC Week 3 Predictions

Asheville's a year older, a year more experienced and healthier. I'm not sure if they'll win, but I'd be more surprised if they lost by 20.

    MAC Week 3 Predictions

Is Crest that good again or are people feeling lower on Asheville after the first couple weeks?

    Mountain Heritage @ Robbinsville

This person isn't currently associated with the ACT, but through two weeks they have covered Tuscola and Cherokee, Hendersonville and West, Reynolds and Brevard, Enka and North Henderson.

    MAC Week 2 Predictions

Been a loooong time since they beat Erwin. That would be huge.

    MAC Week 2 Predictions

Enka looks to be playing really good ball right now, but Hayesville is not good and North got blown out this week. If they're competitive next week and can beat Cherokee, that would be great for them.

    MAC Week 2 Predictions

I'm not sure about Watauga, but I believe it is replacing almost all of last year's team. This is a game that TCR could absolutely dominate.

    Football SMC 2026

Franklin reminds me a lot of Pisgah last season. I don't think they're quite as good as Brevard, but they're going to give a lot of teams fits.

He did, but he's not coaching them anymore.

    🏈 Robbinsville 🏈

No. 7 would've been able to play in the regional final had they needed him.

    Mountain 8 4A/5A

    Looks like 1988 - a 24-6 Brevard win.

    Lincolnton @ Mountain Heritage

The Heritage-Hendo game was closer than it seemed. Hendersonville had a few mental mistakes and Heritage got a touchdown on a play that could have been called a Bearcats interception.
