Very nice. Would love to see him give us more points from outside. Without better outside shooting it's going to be easier for team to collapse down inside on us.
No we don't have any idea how good he can be now but we've seem a few times where there was a flash of big time talent. I agree on using him in special teams situations, he was a great returner in high school.
SD looks like they are going to be tough this year but are they really the second best team we've faced in the last three years? Will we even be match up with them is the first thing to consider.
There's something about Saunders that I really like. He needs to development but Dana's system is perfect for him and he may be a star in three or four years.
His ability to scramble is great but in the passing game we need to protect him so he can set his feet and throw. As you saw last year he has a problem overthrowing our receivers.
If I couldn't afford to attend the games I would still donate as much as I could to the MAC. If we want to be better in sports we have to support the athletic department.
