We have our hands full. Our offense is not great, and UT has some really good talent on the mound. They will be more talented than us in most spots, but you never know, that's why they play the game.
Super Regional tickets sold out in 15 minutes last year. There were Ole Miss fans for sure, but less than a 1000 total. Not saying we even remotely compare to MSU in attendance, but USM is a top 10 baseball school attendance wise.
We have ton's of corporate tickets with banks and other...
Very low chance, I would say. SEC teams are always going to have more talent and a hell of a lot more money. I suspect we will be underdogs vs TN regardless of where it is played.
USM has always been about doing it the hard way. Blue collar mentality and embracing being the overlooked...
Pressure and a very sloppy muddy field led to the collapse vs State a few years back. Last year Ole Miss was simply a buzz saw and beat us in every single phase of the game.
The issue is how pitchers are evaluated in todays game. If you have the right size and velo you get offered. Even if you don’t have a competitive bone in your body and cant even get someone out. All this showcase crap and lack of seeing a player in a real competition has screwed it all up.

The dawgs will be back. Your offense looked really solid, just need to shore up the pitching and the D. MSU is getting all my money anyway right now with two in engineering school there currently.
Cohen with the crooked move to manipulate the committee into giving him a regional. This is exactly what he deserves for working the politics to steal a host spot from a more deserving team.
