    Schiano Men GITT

You cheer and follow for the name on the front of the jersey, the top of your diploma and the institution itself. Those wearing the headsets and helmets come and go. WE are the Scarlet Knights.

“The Spirit Of Troy” is here!

When the ESB is lit up in garnet and gold, then I’ll be concerned. We get good, this kind of stuff will occur. As I said in another thread we are the only game, of its kind, in town. Stuff happens, good stuff, and we are the prince of the City.

I’m Granting Greg Schiano a Mulligan for 2026

It sounds like you’re saying the Athletic Director is lying?

Football Rutgers Football to honor lives lost on 9/11 against Boston College

Another one of those “things” about 9/11, is the guys and their families didn’t get the usual Line of Duty funeral experience. There were so many, so often dry cleaners were doing our uniforms for free.

OT:9/11/2001 - My day as it happened

On 9/11/2001 I was a fireman in Engine 5. Which is on 14th Street in the East Village section of Manhattan. I was not even supposed to be working as I was taking a prep class on Staten Island for the upcoming lieutenants exam. There are a few things I remember about that morning…looking at the...

As I’ve said every year, so glad I’m not on that list. I will have something to say on Friday, 9/11.

Is it too early to start a "are you traveling to a RU Bowl game this season?

One of my fraternity brother’s son goes to Alabama. I hinted I’d like to see a game at Bryant-Denny before his kid graduates. With my “free time”, this might be the year.

The Diehards are Waving the White Flag

I don’t care who wears the headset nor do I care who wear the helmets. I do care about the institution and the name they all wear on their swag and front of their uniforms. I’m not a cult of personality type, so whoever in that group gives us the results is who I want wearing scarlet and...

    OT: September 1, 1939

I like today’s date better: September 2, 1945…the end. I read somewhere by the end of the war, every Japanese ship involved in the attack on Pearl Harbor was either sunk, captured or damaged so much it was out of commission.
