Starting to think the 26 point game for Skal was the exception and not the rule unfortunately. If he doesn't get his act together and Poythress doesn't start taking it to the hole like a damn man then our guards are gonna have their work cut out for them this season.
UL's bigs are so bad. Mahmoud missed some easy bunnies that could've ended up being the difference. Onuaku disappeared against a good opponent and Mathiang has no production at all. They have Lee and Lewis who probably feel like they are playing with a mid major roster, but because there are 2...
Here is the thing about UL. They are as good as they are going to be because the 5th years (while both very good) are all they have. Onuaku and Mathiang both look marginally better than last year and Snider appears to have regressed. Tonight they look pretty even with Michigan St and honestly...
Lee and Lewis look pretty good. Amazing how 2 mid major guys make them that good after his 5 star Blackshear may have proved to be the worst player on his team. Terrence Jennings vs Blackshear who was the worse developed 5 star?
Really starting to feel like KU just choked as Bill Self likes to do against Michigan St. They can't even dribble. I don't understand why they are letting them disrupt them this badly.
One thing about Willis that has been driving me insane is his unwillingness to dribble the ball. He is going to be a liability in pressure defense situations against better teams because he won't dribble more than twice.
I don't get some of you dudes. How was it not obvious that Tyler was that important before this? This team is full of freshman and guards may be some of the harder positions to bring along.
Can you imagine Michigan St. without Valentine? Bet they wouldn't look like a top 5 team. How about Duke...
Eh. Vandy could get more fouls if they drove but they are just jacking up 3's which isn't going to get you many foul calls. I keep trying to see KU contact but they really are just letting Vandy shoot themselves in the foot.
Stalling is in over his head. Dude will follow the script and lose to a team they shouldn't in the tourney after everyone picks them as their sleeper team. They will look good against our crappy SEC competition and probably make it to SECT finals and then just lose to Richmond. If they can't hit...
Simmons is legit. Gonna be hard to knock him off the #1 pick. Dude has such a similar skillset to Lebron. It will be interesting to see how he develops.
