    Alana Beard

    She was my buddy. Same year at Duke, we hooped pickup as freshmen a little bit. She and Iciss were so fun to play with, great understanding of the game and basically never missed open shots. Great human beings, those two. Iciss is a successful lawyer in NYC.

    G-League

    “Starting a business” means nothing to a kid with zero real world experience and no decent mentor to speak of. Many of these young men are in such a situation. It’s a perfect situation for them to lose their money on something stupid.

    The timing of this is pretty obvious. The G league tries to make a case for themselves, and the NCAA turns around and makes a counter offer. It’s all about the money y’all.
