Anybody else feeling good about pulling out a week one fantasy football victory?*

I don't understand all the fuss about the Boom. I thought they were pretty average. Sure they're different than most other bands we see but I wasn't impressed with the quality of their musicianship or showmanship. And it bothered me that in the second half they kept playing after the snap on...
I found this sentence a bit funny:
If our team ran an offense this would be a valid statement but since we just run a collection of about 5 different plays, i think the guy just said something that sounds good about a point guard who is a decent player and not a big time scorer.
I went 3-4 with 6 RBIs including a two run home run in the top of the last inning to give us the lead 8-6. I also had a single handed double-play in that game and got the save.
More recently I hit a 380 yard drive. That was good, too.
I must say I don't understand all the hate directed toward Barry with regard to him driving to the basket. I'm at least as comfortable with Barry driving as Dee because they make the shots with comparable percentages. Actually, Barry has better shooting percentages than Dee in the three...
I understand the concepts of chemistry and attitude just fine but I think that sheer playing ability is a greater commodity in the case of this team than chemistry. Let me explain my reasoning. If John Riek and Renardo Sidney both qualify then I think the positive effect of their playing ability...
So one reason he's your favorite bench player because he smiles? I actually think he's our least skilled player and I would not mind seeing him leave. I don't think we'd miss anything with him and his line-drive hookshot gone.
I agree with your sentiment about Elgin Bailey. He was the most disappointing player for me this year. For all the hate that Benock and Beckham, I thought Elgin was our least skilled guy that took the floor. If he were to leave and both of these new guys qualify, I wouldn't lose a bit of sleep.
If you look a little farther down that list a guy from Cleveland, MS comes in at #9. And if you look at ESPN's top 25 players for 2011, you'll find 3 Mississippi kids and 1 from Alabama. Hopefully 2011 will be a big recruiting year for us in basketball.
Don't be dissing Romero like that. Romero is much better than Elgin in many facets of the game like dribbling, shooting, running, passing, and decision making. Elgin's lone quality that everyone seems to like him for is that he always hustles. Mr. Osby will be much better than Elgin.
Kodi is the main one I don't want to see go because he should develop into our best low post scorer next year. Jarvis is good and I love having him on our team, but we need a good post up player and Jarvis hasn't been one on a consistent basis due to his lack of strength and size. Hopefully both...
