St. X is always going to dominate the club sports. Tennis, swimming golf. Who the eff cares about those sports. I can also assure you that none of those kids are in families that pay less than full tuition. X has a swimming pool..... Let them have that.

EXACTLY. No one who is a Govt school supporter likes to mention the inconvenient truth of 45-0 South Warren Softball. Also ranked in the Top 10 of the country. Oh my!!! how is that even possible? Is it their free tuition?
I disagree. The Govt schools offer FREE tuition to everyone. Trinity does not offer free tuition to anyone. The most you are going to receive in financial aid is about half....of a $17,000 tuition. That goes through a third party and does not reference athletics in the need based process...
I believe he has been in the NCAA long enough to accrue all potential retirement benefits, retiree medical plan, fully vested in the 401K plan as well as a gold watch once he eventually retires.
Mitch's job however is to do what you can see on that list----NOT to impress you or the basketball bennies. To the degree we are a blueblood in basketball---great. But the era of NIL and yearly transfers from the portal----its a whole new world.
The SEC is as strong as it is because of strong athletics directors whose jobs are to see all sports in their portfolio are strong. The SEC and obviously the dang B10 are pretty freaking tough across the board. The AD should not be AD if he is the AS...Athletic Specific. MB did his job.

He was the AD not the Basketball coordinator. His job was to improve all the sports rather just the one you personally like. By any measure he has done that.
