    Why would Hickory, North Lincoln and East Lincoln want to drive to Crest, Hunter Huss and Southpoint when the could go half the distance to Bandys, Maiden and Newton? The split conferences make the most financial sense... make travel time shorter, gates bigger and its a win win for the schools.

    I will say this about Lincolnton… the team not the man. They are young and fast and will be very dangerous when they work out the kinks. I don’t know if that’s this year or next but seriously dangerous.
