    Saw the Avett Brothers there last spring. Wonderful place. Parking not a problem. There was lots of parking everywhere. I seem to recall we paid to park in a lot some Boy Scouts were operating, but there are plenty of other options as well.

    the students pulling the elementary school scores down drop out of high school. I'm continually amazed at the number of kids who don't finish high school.

    Just had to go back and look to confirm that Tennessee wasn't even in the damn tournament. At no point did she have a team in the event. Fan all the way. Didn't the Saints make sure the crazy homeless guy who was with them all season and through the playoffs made it to the Super Bowl?

    OT: Best Places to Eat in Destin

    I've only been a couple times so I'm anxious to see what everyone else says, but generally following your criteria my family likes AJ's Cafe Gratzi on Highway 98, not the one at Sandestin and LaPaz These may be more semi-local than 100 percent authentically local, but we like them.

    A maxed-out complement of bodies covers up most of the worst of it and makes it look like the great tradition it is, but anything else looks like a refugee camp. I don't want to get rid of the tradition -- hell I don't even want to take anything away from the folks who've held onto the sites...
