Chuck is completely biased...
He's always been a douche. He hates MSU and has been cutting us down for many, many years. What I took from that interview:
1. We are a bad team
2. Dak wasn't a big difference
3. Atmosphere was blah
4. Both offenses struggled but UM played good defense...MSU did...
Not even close...yet
1(a) Paul Maholm
1(b) Bobby Reed
2. BJ Wallace
3. Stratton (Senior year)
4. Eric Dubose
5. Gary Roth (Senior year)
Bullpen guys:
1. Pete Young
2. Aaron Weatherford
3. Jon Harden
4. Van Johnson
I'm too young to remember anything before about 1988 or so. Heard stories...

Agreed 100% and to add, think about this:
1. In the first Quarter plus 1 minute we gave up 21 pts to Bama
2. In the first Quarter against A&M we gave up 21 pts
3. In the third Quarter plus 3 minutes against UM we gave up 24 pts
4. Against LSU with 0:48 left until half, LSU goes 71 yards...
Good analysis. I agree on all of them.
I've been to a ton of these and this one is as tough to assess as any that I have seen. One reason for me is that this MSU team is just so different than what I am used to seeing. How many times in our history have we been above average and not relied...
Not sure how this turned into a LP debate. I like LP and you do too. We agree. He's had a tremendous year. I defend him weekly. He needs some help from his OL in short yardage situations. I think it is also advantageous to use the 230 lb QB we have and the other backs we have in short...
I agree about LP. I am a big fan, especially between the 20s (See "short yardage"). I also agree that Bama makes everyone look bad. I'm referring to the body of work over 8 games. I got spoiled watching Dixon, Ballard and Relf line up from the 2 yard line and carry people into the endzone...
Let me start by saying that we weren't going to beat Bama. After 8 games we now have a body of work to look at and that is more important than this one game.
1. The DL is getting beat by almost every OL we play. Until this is fixed, we will struggle against average-good teams. I'm not sure...
