    Coach Oddo

    So sorry to hear this. Coach Oddo was the head coach at Catholic back when I was in HS in the mid 70's when I played at Central Cabarrus. He will be missed, he was a great coach and person. He was the HC in the Shrine Bowl in 2013 when my CC QB Hasaan Klugh was the North Carolina QB in that game.

    What has happened in Mooresville? They were always in the conversation for championships for many years back in the day. Did LN hurt them? Possibly LN Charter also, I guess. Playing in the Charlotte conferences doesn't help.

    I had turf at Tuscola and at Central Cabarrus. I love it. You never have to worry about a muddy field or tearing it up. Less work on the coaches by not having to mow and paint lines and logos every week. Rainy day practices are no problem, nor is multiple sports using the same field. You have to...
