    Actually, it was Coach Mehringer that said Laviano had an experience advantage. In the same interview he said Gio had issues with his mechanics. Most importantly, he said that Rettig was throwing the ball VERY, VERY well. My read is that Rettig has the slime lead at this point.

    Question about the offense?

    The FB position typically becomes the 'move' TE position in the Power Spread. You'll see the Move TE short motion to kick out LB's and possibly DE's playside. Only in Goal Line and Short Yardage will you see a FB type player lined up in the backfield.
