    OT: Bourbon reviews

I agree with you like what you like and I try to hit up a different distillery whenever in Kentucky. Here’s what I always keep at home. Sipping- Smoke Wagon(any of them are great), Buffalo Trace, IW Harper Cabernet cask aged. Big fan of Bulleit rye and it makes a great old fashioned. I also...

Need help, headed to Grand Canyon

This is the route I normally take from Phoenix. Head north on I-17 then 89A to Jerome. If you leave early enough get lunch at Haunted Hamburger then walk around. If you need to shorten the trip go from Phoenix to Sedona. Sedona has become a tourist trap but maybe walk a couple of trails...

    OT: Bucket List Concerts

I saw Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Isbell and Charles Wesley Godwin together this year and that the best non music festival trifecta I’ve seen. The concert that didn’t happen that I hope will happen was Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers. We had tickets and it was cancelled due to covid.

    Lexington Suggestions

Lexington Distillery District has tons of drinking and eating options. When I return that will be on the itinerary. Ethereal Brewing is there and has tons of great beers. Walking distance from Rupp, Ethereal has a public house with great food. Hit up Town Branch Distillery for some great...

    Christmas Music

This is a great album and I listened to it today. “twinkle Little Christmas Lights” is not on this album but another great song by JD.

    OT: Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Get there when gates open and park in South Upper Lot. If you don’t get there at gates opening you will not get this lot. Other lot can be a serious hike in and out. You can tail gate so load up with drinks, food and other things. Attendants will stop you while driving and typically ask if it’s...

    OT - Tequila

Tres Cuatro Cinco and nothing else I’ve tried comes close. Need to hit Powerball to buy a bottle. $675 a bottle up.

    OT: Zion NP

It’s 2.5hr drive from Vegas to Zion so round trip 5hrs on the road. You will have very little time at the park. I could easily spend a week at Zion. I suggest you search some local places like Red River close Canyon.

    Denver, what y'all got?

10 Barrel Brewing has the best bison burger I’ve had. Another vote for Snooze AM for breakfast. And Snarfs if you need a deli sandwich.

    Bose Soundbars

Samsung soundbar with subwoofer, must have Adaptive setting for dialogue. I can actually watch movies again without reading closed captioning. My son bought one first and I watched a game with him and could hear everything. I bought one immediately!

This team and staff have endured hell the last year…

These young men may end up being the toughest team we’ve ever fielded. Not only are they dealing with normal college chaos but also Covid. A lot of us will never understand how much Covid has changed how this generation had to learn and socialize. And on top of all that the amount of loss and...

    First 5 R.E.M. Releases

I made a playlist titled “Good REM” and it’s Chronic Town through Document. Reckoning is my favorite album and my roommate at State had a concert bootleg that was awesome!
