Glad to see his recent recruiting wins. They give him the opportunity to do something big this year, and I truly hope he does.
Still have my doubts though. To date, I haven't seen much direct evidence he is likely to lead us to Final Fours and beyond, but I will be rooting hard for him to do so.

I started on the AoL board. Was mainly a lurker for a long time though.
I remember the first thread I ever started was about Reggie Hanson signing a 10 day contract with the Celtics back in 98.
We at least have a legit shot now.
Will be rooting with all that is in me for them to deliver.
If we don't, then I'm sure appropriate decisions will be made, but I'm not going to worry about that yet.
Bottom line: no one believes he is the guy who can get them to the NBA / increase their draft stock.
We will be relegated to second and third tier recruits until he is gone.
Any time you limit your pool of job applicants like that, you greatly reduce your chances of success.
Sometimes it still works out like Roy Williams at UNC. Far more often, as you suggest, it doesn't.
