    I am only one person with not a large network and know 7 families that have done this and met others on college tours from around the country doing the same.

    It all depends on what you want for Mississippi State. If the status quo is what you like then that is great. If you want more funding and to be nationally relevant in these changing times then football and basketball carry much more weight. I have many friends that never set foot in the South...

    On another note. I go to several Alabama home games a year (daughter goes there), and I sit close to the field in club seats and cannot hear one thing the announcer says and can barely hear music.

    To be honest, all schools with painted end zones are the same. Go on the field at Alabama on game day and paint is exactly the same.
