    I'm not an SHG fan, but I am quite familiar with their program. They are not in a position to hope to be a state contender in a year or two. They are a senior heavy team whose best chance to compete at state is this year in 5A. As you said in a previous post, 5A is down as a whole this year...

    Last year they had a Soph who was a very good dual threat QB. But their star RB graduated along with the backup RB. All of these starting WR graduated as well. Not sure what they return on the line. On defense they graduated their top 6 tacklers and 8 of the their top 9.

    Chicago Kenwood was 9-2 last year with a 38-34 loss to St. Francis in week 1 & a 43-20 second round playoff loss to Lincoln-Way West in 7A. Seems like this could be a decent matchup for Rochester in Week 3. Much better than Staunton.

    Anyone been able to find much info on Rochester's week 1 opponent Moline? Didn't see any stats listed on MaxPreps and no luck finding any stats or info on how many starters return.
