South Carolina favored by 3 1/2

You literally asked another person in the post directly above if they were a "moron". Then you don't like it if someone calls you a "U6 fan"....Make it make sense...

    Morton injured

I understand the frustration, but Pope just finished his 2nd year here. Not his 19th year here, his 2nd.

    In State talent:

Not worried, could easily transfer back here after their freshman year.

Top football recruit Kelan Hall predicted to sign with Oklahoma

It doesn't matter with the portal. He might end up here eventually anyway.

Cade Tyson next ? Filing lawsuit for eligibility

Maybe Pope adds someone for 2nd semester?

Impressions on the Football Cats after week 1

We were missing our starting corners and Afari is probably a starter also. I think we did okay for the first game.

    Mitchell Not Coming to UK

Agree, if the best Pope can do is S16, both parties need to move on.

Who is left for the last roster spot

If Pope doesn't at least make the S16, there is 0 chance he's here next year, imo.

Who is left for the last roster spot

    Not adding anyone imo.

Crazy excited for the season without legal drama!

This isn't a "nice" cherry on top player. He would have arguably been your #1 offensive threat and at least #2 overall player.

Crazy excited for the season without legal drama!

If Pope felt like he had a loaded roster, he wouldn't of gone after Mitchell at the 11th hour. The floor of this team has just been lowered and the coaches know it, just as we do. That's if Pope has a healthy team, and we know how hard that's been with him as coach. If anything, this raised...

    Mitchell Not Coming to UK

Wouldn't say "anyone" would be better. It does feel like this bad voodoo isn't going away until we get rid of Pope though.

    Mitchell Not Coming to UK

Obviously the staff wasn't positive, otherwise why go for Mitchell? If we don't go after anyone else now, basically throwing in the towel before the season has even begun.

Who is left for the last roster spot

Pope has to try to get someone imo. No real way to spin that the staff is happy with the roster as current, otherwise why try to get Mitchell? To stand pat now basically tells everyone you are a S16 roster at best.

    Mitchell Not Coming to UK

I'm beginning to think it might be best for UK and Pope to part ways. Pope can't be enjoying this anymore than the fans, a new start for everyone might be for the best.
