    I'm trying to knock out some of the classics. Currently reading Metamorphoses by Ovid. It's written as a collection of narrative poems covering many of the tales from Greek and Roman mythology. It's going to take me a while to get through it.

    "We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor." What courage it took for them to sign that document. I'm sure most thought it was a death warrant. July 4 is my favorite day of the year.

    How are you people in the Northeastern quarter of the country dealing with the heat and humidity more common to the Southeastern quarter?

    Saw Big Boy this morning up in Gladwyne. Luckily it had not heated up too much yet. Then left there and played a little tennis - the heat was pretty cranked up at that point. Wondering about the impact on tomorrow's World Cup match in Philly.

    Custer State Park is definitely worth a visit. Skip Deadwood - gambling has destroyed the town. Consider climbing Bear Butte or Black Elk Peak if you like hiking.
