    If you are of the mind to boycott the final 4, you might as well boycott the sport entirely. Which I get, because the system sucks. But everyone here would have been happy if we got on the right side of the bubble and that game would have been the biggest thing on here since March 2022.

    Because for a lot of the schools, getting to the dance is a W after 4+ months of exciting basketball and games. For others, a Sweet 16 is a win, when you haven’t been there forever. Same with the Elite 8 for certain schools. It’s all relative.

    Yes but what he’s saying is that at least for Reed and Zuby, there is stuff out there publicly that those kids took less to stay rather than portal. But we don’t have Hurley or Pitino either, so there’s that. Robbie Avila was another. The Monroe kid at Quinnipiac, surprisingly.

    Hard to get any fan to do this because if we happened to get in the dance this year, every single poster here would be 100% into it, happy, and that first game would have been the biggest thing around here since Willard’s first round flop against TCU in 2022.

    There are some, but that isn't a knock really on anything our staff did or did not do. A kid who leaves as a freshman/sophomore and is talented -- like a Jordan Walker -- gets better with age and the right situation.
