    OT: Locksley out

Some excerpts from Mike Locksley's interview with the great Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports: In his first public comments since the move, Locksley said he wants to get back into the NFL or become a coordinator at a college program "you can win a championship at." He ruled out the kind of...

Men's Soccer Takes Short Trip to Penn State Tuesday Night

Hopefully Rutgers wins. Maryland won there 3-2 (title on this video is wrong) last week on a fluke own-goal with five minutes remaining, just seconds after Michigan had tied it up 2-2. The Terps have been fading after a strong start but are still #11 with RPI of 4 or so...

Men's Soccer Takes Short Trip to Penn State Tuesday Night

You guys have a rosier outlook than I do about it (plus I'm so out of date that I thought only 4 teams make the B1G tournament). I hope you're right; this team is good enough for the NCAAs, after a slow start. I'm not very good at understanding who gets tournament bids in any sport...

Men's Soccer Takes Short Trip to Penn State Tuesday Night

Dang, Rutgers soccer is a force to be reckoned with in the B1G now. The are back to "receiving votes" in the poll. Great job by the Scarlet Knights. They have 6 losses, and their RPI is only 19, so their going to have to come up with a few more marquis wins, I think. But I think they are...

First head to fall MD DC fired.

The Matt Canada comment is amusing to me. As I've said before, I don't really care either way about DJ Pickle, the previous coach, but it seemed like he knew how to build a program. It was his teams that beat nationally-ranked Texas two years in a row (the second time with Canada wearing the...

First head to fall MD DC fired.

Yeah. Feeble is giving them too much credit; they aren't appeasing anybody in the fanbase with that move. It just pissed fans off even more than they already were. I still feel like this AD is hip to the current college athletics world, and will succeed. He actually had people paying to come...

Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football versus Maryland

I, and the small subset of Maryland fans I am in contact with, have no clue what is going on. The athletic department even went so far as having a statement issued by Coach Locksley explaining the dismissal of the defensive coordinator, with a coachspeak quote and everything. I still believe...

Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football versus Maryland

I hate all the celebrations of trivial things, as you seem to, but at least he was also making a lot of good football plays. I don't even know who he is, ha ha, I should not have commented...
