    My point exactly, Vernon. I get the fact that CFB is a big money game now and everyone is scampering to grab that last dollar but, there seems to be a lack of substance in that philosophy. We don't even have the opportunity to get to know our coaches before they are packed up and booted out...

    What is even more insane is that our offense has consistently gone cold after a couple quarters in the past what? 5 games? Imagine if we could execute like we do in the 1st and 3rd quarters on a more consistent basis.

    I've never been a fan of the 3-3-5 (not even last year or the 2010 D) but I fully understand why we run it. My biggest issue with it is the short to intermediate spacing. We're always playing on our heels or just outright out of position. Seems like the middle is always open and is always good...

    Without doubt, Eagle. It was an off day for everyone, no question. The running back corps was by large, unproductive and sluggish. Crawford needs to sit and get healthy again. He's hurt pretty badly I think; more than is being said IMO. The defense was spotty....they did create some turnovers...
