Better Gaucho: UCSB, Ronaldinho, or the Steely Dan album?

Not a listed option, but the best gaucho is the one who brings me meat on a large skewer at the Brazilian steakhouse. And it's not close.

OT: A Saturday night question for the Pack...

This is easy. It's the toilet in the Chapel of Memories. It is air-conditioned, private (one holer with a couple of doors of separation and a door lock) and there is plenty of room to get comfortable. Don't forget to pray before you leave.

The devil is beating his wife... really?

Yep, I've heard this all my life. And that's basically how it was explained to me as well. Essentially it means it's hot as blazes yet tears are falling. If you have been in Mississippi/Alabama in the summer then this should resonate with you pretty well.

Anybody here play "roughhouse" football as a kid?

Great game! We distinguished between the games "Roughhouse" and "Smear the *****." They were in essence the same but "Roughhouse" was a little more organized since it actually had a unidirectional endzone. Thus, the game had an actual point since you could score. Then the inevitable...

    I need a ruling...

is that Mullen has thus far shown a real tendency to be unconcernedby whom isin the game at certain critical junctures and specificplay-calls. For instance, going into last year I would have told you that we were going to really excel running more inside stuff with Ballard and running screens...

One interesting thing about Schuessler ...

but I can't tell you how many times I have watched a CSU or MTSU game and wished we had their QB. The guy has good size and he has won a state championship at a big school. If we can develop the guy at all, he should at least be a serviceable backup in the future.

    Possible Game Day Atmosphere.....

I laughed at the use of guerilla (a Central American soldier who excels at jungle warfare) rather than gorilla. Nevertheless, your point is well taken.</p>

    Thoughts on our Defensive scheme..

and thankfully on the other side of the field where the first down doesn't heurt you near as much except in time of possession and momentum. I'm glad they don't give out points for those things, but I would like to see us get off the field a little earlier sometimes, specifically in big games...

    Thoughts on our Defensive scheme..

is really what I am after. I am fine if we want to play safe with cushion the majorityof the time, but sometimes we need to play tighter. On occasion the opposing QB needs to look into the flats on 2nd or 3rd and long and see our CB all over their guy. Then we may have time for him to panic and...

    Thoughts on our Defensive scheme..

I mentioned this a few weeks ago and got blasted for being unappreciative of Diaz's brilliance. I think it will really make a difference if we play tighter on our blitzes, especially on 2nd and long with teams like Auburn that don't necessarily want to hit a home run on you anyway. We have...

#msufreshmantips on Twitter - Have you seen them?

It was quiet and private, spacious and there was a side door that you could use if you needed to exit "discreetly." I alsoproposed to my wife there --- the chapel, not its bathroom.
