I was gonna say... MSU looked a hell of a lot more overmatched last year than NIU did in their BCS appearance. I guess we should ban the Big Ten from future playoffs.
FWIW that NIU game was significantly closer than a lot of other BCS games have been.. and that team was not as good as ours. They lost to a 4-8 Iowa and didn't have a good defense at all. I really liked Jordan Lynch but that was not a complete team.
