What is your Rutgers football dream schedule?

Week 1: Penn State, always best chance to beat them in first week (Iowa second best because their offense is rarely good early on) Week 2: Group of Five team (i.e. Temple or someone else locally) Week 3: FCS opponent (i.e Delaware, better than Wagner) Week 4: West Virginia (or Another Power Five...

OT: Soccer journalist Grant Wahl dies covering World Cup

Didn't see anything to suspect foul play yet, but very curious to see if this was Myocarditis.

    Kenny Fletcher injury

Speaking of injuries, do we know if Munnerlyn and Banton are hurt or just not high up on the depth chart? Also unclear what positions they are at WR/TE or DE/LB. Also may have missed Tunde not on the roster, did he transfer?

Remember that time the Bills without practicing whooped the Jets at a neutral site?

GS quit on his offense the end of the first half

This style works for Iowa more so because they play in the Big Ten West AND have a pipeline of offensive linemen. They also usually have a QB with a big arm even if he is not accurate underneath to at least make defenses have to respect the possibility of a deep ball. But you can see even they...

GS quit on his offense the end of the first half

Exactly, half the time you throw downfield is a play where the zebras have to make a judgement call on PI. We have seen opponents try this on 3rd and long against RU for the last 9 years, but Rutgers only did it in 2014 and 2020.

    Bye week changes

The reason they don't (not necessarily shouldn't) throw slants or crossers is that the linebackers are clogging that space because they have no respect for the deep ball OR they have time to get sucked up for a run and then still more time to recover back. The TE seam route is how you beat most...

    Questionable Coaching

The line looked a lot better once it looked like Hanson (though maybe could have been Gus) was in at center with Krimin at guard. Paillant looked like he was playing hurt and his replacement Ireland Brown (formerly Burke) flashed a little, but also got beaten a few times. Troy Rainey on the...

    Questionable Coaching

Rewatched and on every completed pass more than 15 yards (other than the 3rd and 17 when NU rolled the pocket), Hilinski got the ball out of his hand in less than 2.7 seconds. So the RU pass rush wasn't as bad as we thought. Within 3.5 seconds he started to scramble or just throw the ball away...

Is offense really that hard to do?

Yea, Bordner is inexperienced as a left tackle and it has showed A LOT the last few weeks.

Is offense really that hard to do?

We actually moved the ball better against OSU.
