AJ going to be a Hawk?

He weighed in at nationals around 220. He could make 197 if he wanted.

I can but it will take me a bit. Should have it together in another day or two.

    April 1 Portal targets

I think Eise or Wright are probably more realistic than Garvin...although I'm not entirely sure how realistic they actually are. Thompson is one that I would love to have if I thought he could get down to 165 because he's got a lot of potential that's not been realized yet. He could be a...

So you're looking for recruits ranked 25+, number of times they AA, and the schools that have had the most guys in that criteria hit the podium? Is that right? Do you want to set a top limit (i.e. 25-50, 25-75, or just all guys 25-100)?

    April 1 Portal targets

I feel reasonably confident that Iowa will land one of Crookham/Knox/Fugitt in the portal. 133 is a big hole but thankfully there are some quality wrestlers in the portal at that class already. 165 is an entirely different matter. It's still early and could change pretty drastically, but...

What are you wanting to dig in to specifically? I've got all of the recruiting and AA data for the last 10 years. If there's something specific you want to see or a subset you want to look at, it won't take me long to pull it for you. Just let me know.

If memory serves Welsh committed to Penn State and like the next day Ryder's name was in the portal. With the potential 48-hour gap between when a student athlete enters their name in and when the school has to formally submit the name into the portal, any of the following things were possible...

Well now it be ON like Donkey KONG!!!

I didn't actually. I basically only follow Iowa wrestling. I would definitely like to learn more about what exactly that person is doing to keep things above board. Do you happen to remember the guy's name or staff position title? About the only thing I could think of to keep it above...

Their tax returns are 100% public knowledge. As a 501(c)(3) organization, literally everyone is privy to their tax returns. The IRS has a special portal that allows anyone to look at the tax returns for every registered non-profit. You can find the NLWC's tax returns here. Just for...

It will be interesting to see him in an Iowa singlet next year but I don’t think it will happen.

Well now it be ON like Donkey KONG!!!

I can tell you with 100%, verifiable confidence that the NCAA is aware of it. They send out communication annually to every NCAA athletic department about it. It's not worth going through all of the various restrictions, but there are basically only 2 types of visas that international NCAA...

Well now it be ON like Donkey KONG!!!

I don't see Ono leaving Penn State. One of the interesting things that people don't think about though is that all international athletes are on F-1 visas. That means that they cannot receive NIL or Rev Share without losing their visa. The only pay that they can receive is for internships...

    Portal April 1st

I think Iowa's looking something like this: Need 133-The good news is that there are three guys in the portal that have placed top 8 (Crookham, Knox, Fugitt). There are also a couple Blood round guys (Rivera and Ungar). 165-The pickings are pretty slim at 165 right now. The best true 165...

    Portal April 1st

If he's healthy, no one else in the portal at 133 comes close to his talent level. If you're looking for a high ceiling guy, that's Crookham.

I personally think Zepeda is going to end up at Michigan, but if we landed him, I doubt it would impact any 2027 recruit one way or another. Zepeda is either a 149 pounder or a 157 pounder. Joe Bachmann wrestled 152 this year after jumping up from 127. He's already slated to go at 160 next...
